Miraflores de la Sierra es uno de los pueblos con más encanto cerca de Madrid, perfecto para disfrutar de rutas de senderismo en plena naturaleza.
El Puerto de la Morcuera, a 1.796 m de altitud, está situado en la Sierra de Guadarrama (Comunidad de Madrid) y es el tercer puerto más alto de la región. Desde allí se pueden contemplar vistas de Madrid hacia el sur, espectaculares panorámicas de montañas y cascadas, así como cumbres de más de 2.000 m, como Cabezas de Hierro y La Najarra.
En nuestro punto de comida disfrutaremos de una impresionante vista panorámica de Peñalara.

IMPORTANTE: Esta ruta no está recomendada para senderistas principiantes o de nivel básico.

• Inicio: Después de tomar un café en Miraflores de la Sierra.
• Final: Al terminar la ruta iremos a tomar algo.
• Dificultad: Alta (Medio/Alto).
• Tipo de ruta: Circular.
• Distancia total: 16 km.
• Altitud máxima: 1.776 m.
• Altitud mínima: 1.149 m.
• Desnivel acumulado: 620 m.
• Salida de Madrid: 9:30 h.
• Trayecto en bus: Aprox. 1 h.
• Regreso a Madrid: Autobús desde Miraflores a las 17:00 o 18:00 h.

El recorrido no presenta gran dificultad, salvo en el último kilómetro antes de llegar al Puerto de la Morcuera.

En autobús:

• Quedamos en el Intercambiador de Plaza de Castilla (nivel -3, dársena 26).
• Hora de encuentro: 09:10 h (salida 09:15 h).
• Autobús nº 725 con destino Miraflores.
• Billete: 3€
• Con el abono joven el viaje es gratuito.

En coche particular:

• Punto de encuentro: Restaurante Llerja (Miraflores) a las 10:30 h.
• Google Maps: Abrir ubicación

• Botas de senderismo/deporte.
• Jersey.
• Gorro de vernao.
• Gafas de sol y crema solar.
• Comida y al menos 1,5 L de agua.
• En caso de lluvia: chubasquero o pequeño paraguas.

(El evento no se cancela por lluvia).

Miraflores de la Sierra is one of the charming town near Madrid, perfact for the hiking routes while enjoying nature. The port of La Morcuera is a mountain pass 1796 meters above sea level, located in the Sierra de Guadarrama within the Community of Madrid. It is the third highest port in the Madrid region. From the port you can see Madrid from the south Side, beautiful views of the mountains, waterfalls that come from the high mountains and peaks of more than 2,000 meters such as Cabezas de Hierro and La Najarra. At our lunch Spot, We all will enjoy The Most beautiful panoramic view of Peñalara.

IMPORTANT: (This hike is not recommended for basic and initial hikers).

We will start our hike after a coffee at Miraflores Town. at the end of hike we will go for the Drink.
Difficulty: Hard. medio/Alto
Hike Type: Loop
Total Hike: 16KM
Maximum altitude 1,776 m.
Minimum altitude 1,149 m.
Elevation change: 620m.
Leaving Madrid: 9:30am
Bus Journey: 1 Hours Aprox
Coming back to madrid (Bus Leaving Time from miraflores): 17:00 or 18:00pm
The path is not very difficult, except for the last kilometer before reaching the Puerto de Morcuera.

By Bus: we are going by bus. meet us at intercambiador de plaza castilla ( underground bus station of plaza de Castilla, level -3) at 09:10h. For departure at 09:15h. Bus to Miraflores, Bus Number 725 Dock 26. One way cost 3€ and you pay to the bus driver. If you have abono joven then the bus trip is Free.

It is necessary to bring hiking /Sports shoes, Jersey, Summer cap, Sun Glasses, Sun screen, your lunch and 1.5L water (minimum).
in case of Rain we are not going to cancel this event. please bring rainy jacket or a small umbrella.

The Charges are only 10€. if you have abono 10hikes then only 8€. Price (10€) includes only Hike guide, everyone must pay by own public transport charges, which are mention above. if you want insurance, It is possible to arrange a personalized accident insurance for only 5€ providing name, surname and ID/Passport Number.

2. we publish our event photos at our social media Accounts. such as instagram, facebook. we respect everyone privacy. if you don’t want to be in the Photos, please let us know at the start of event.
3. All our hiking events are lead by experience hiking guide, who sets the pace of the group, stops, etc. The Guide have the Right to block the person from the Group in case of misbehave, bad vibes or messing with other members of the Group.
4. All our events are accessible by Madrid Public Transport. We do not offer any type of Travel or Accident insurance.
