New Easy Hiking route from Alpedrete to Collado Mediano, visiting the Mataespesa Castle and the Miaccum Roman Site, and then returning along the path that linked both towns along the Camino called la Posada, passing through several abandoned granite quarries, remains of an ancient past that linked to Alpedrete, and that have survived until now .A site that is worth visiting in Alpedrete is known as Mataespesa Castle, although it is not really a castle but it was a farm with a large stately house. The most beautiful is the surroundings and the views, especially from a seat-shaped viewpoint, where you can sit and Enjoy the good panoramic view of Los Siete Picos and La Bola del Mundo at sunset.

we will start the hike after the Coffee at Alpedrete Town.

Hike Type: Loop

Maximum altitude: 1000m.

Minimum altitude: 911m.

Elevation change: 132m.

Estimated Hike Duration: 4-5 hours (depending on pace and stops)

Leaving Madrid: 9:30am

Coming back to madrid: 16:00 or 17:00pm

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ How to get there?

We are meeting at underground Moncola Bus Station. find us at Isla 2, Dársena 21, BUS 681 at 9:15AM for the 09:30AM departure.

Please bring change or a 5€ or 10€ bill for the bus driver. one way Cost 4,20€ on the bus. Bus Driver not Accepting Card Payments, Only Cash. The bus is free if you have the abono joven and reduced if you have an abono for outside the center C1.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What to Bring?

It is necessary to bring hiking or Sports shoes, Comfy clothes with a warm jacket, in backpack, in case it gets colder. Summer Cap, Sun Glasses, Sun screen, Your lunch, Snacks and 1.5L water (minimum).

in case of Rain we are not going to cancel this event. please bring rainy jacket or a small umbrella.

The Charges are only 10€. Cash in hand on hike Day. The Price includes only Hike guide and event organizing.

if you want insurance, It is possible to arrange a personalized accident insurance for only 5€ providing name, surname and ID/Passport Number.

1. if you signup for any event, and at any moment you feel that you are not able to make it, Then please Mark your Spot as not joining. so other person can take your Spot. if you ignore this rule, you may not able to join any Future event.

2. we publish our event photos at our social media Accounts. such as instagram, facebook. we respect everyone privacy. if you don’t want to be in the Photos, please let us know at the start of event.

3. All our hiking events are lead by experience hiking guide, who sets the pace of the group, stops, etc. The Guide have the Right to block the person from the Group in case of misbehave, bad vibes or messing with other members of the Group.

4. All our events are accessible by Madrid Public Transport. We do not offer any type of Travel or Accident insurance.
