Magnificent Route For hiking. Route with forest, rivers, rocks and nature that starts from the town of Soto del Real and ends in Manzanares el Real crossing La Pedriza.
Little about El Tolmo: El Tolmo is a huge granite stone in the middle of our hiking Trail. It is 18 meters high and weighs about 500 tons. Aprox 600 years Ago This piece of Rock fell from the highest parts of La Pedriza and some people say that it comes from El Yelmo or from the right slope of El Pájaro.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Information and Technical Sheet of the Hike:
This Trail is Not Recommended for Basic and initial hiker.

We will start the route from the town of Soto Del Real, passing through Cantera and going up to Coll Dehesilla, visiting La pedriza and we will finish the Route in Manzanares el Real.
One way route.
Total Distance: 18km.
Difficulty: Hard/Alto.
Maximum altitude 1,544 m.
Minimum altitude 1000 m.
Elevation change: 450m.
The track is not difficult, except for the last kilometer before reaching at Coll Dehesilla, where there are some steeper slopes. see the photos in description of the route. We will do the route with enough Mini Stops for rest. We start the route after having a coffee in Soto del Real Town. at the end of the hike we go for beers in Manzanares el Real if there is enough time for the bus back to Madrid. At 6 or 7PM we will be back in madrid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ How to get there
By Bus: we are going by bus. meet us at intercambiador de plaza castilla ( underground bus station of plaza de Castilla) at 09:10 h. For departure at 09:20 h. Bus to Bustarviejo, Planta or Nivel -3. Bus Number 725. Dock 26. One way cost 5,10€ and you pay to the bus driver. The bus does not accept card payment. You have to bring change of € 5 or € 10 bill. If you have abono joven then the bus trip is Free.

By private car: Sorry. No cars this time because the start and the end point of the hike is not the Same.

The Charges are only 10€. Cash in hand at the end of hike.
The Price includes only Hike guide. if you want insurance, It is possible to arrange a personalized accident insurance for only 5€ providing name, surname and ID/Passport Number.

A light Jersey, Hiking Shoes if you have. if you are coming in sport shoes, then please bring extra pair of socks. Summer cap, sun protection cream, 1.5L water, your Lunch and Happy Face :).

1. if you signup for any event, and at any moment you feel that you are not able to make it, Then please Mark your Spot as not joining. so other person can take your Spot. if you ignore this rule, you may not able to join any Future event.
2. we publish our event photos at our social media Accounts. such as instagram, facebook. we respect everyone privacy. if you don’t want to be in the Photos, please let us know at the start of event.
3. All our hiking events are lead by experience hiking guide, who sets the pace of the group, stops, etc. The Guide have the Right to block the person from the Group in case of misbehave, bad vibes or messing with other members of the Group.
4. All our events are accessible by Madrid Public Transport. We do not offer any type of Travel or Accident insurance.
